Breast Cancer Awareness in Brazil--As in most third world countries breast cancer awareness is very low. Estimated reported deaths are as high 80 to 90,000 *In Brazil many women die of this disease because of poverty and inadequate health care. According to the National Cancer Institute in Brazil (INCA), cancer is the second greatest cause of death in Brazil, and it is projected to cause 49,400 new deaths in 2009.
