Free breast cancer
screenings to be
offered in South Florida.
We will announce the
date mid-year 2012.
This is our current
proposed
route when our
first unit goes online.
Our
goal is to purchase at
least 3 units to cover
such a vast area.
The Mobile
Mammography Unit (MMU)
will travel from Key West
Florida
northward up the East
coast of Florida traveling
through
Miami, Fort
Lauderdale, West Palm
to Orlando, to
Daytona Beach
to Jacksonville.
From Jacksonville the
Bus will travel to
Savannah, Georgia
and then to
Charleston, South
Carolina. When we reach
North Carolina we will stop
in Columbia
and Fayetteville.
From there we will head west
to Augusta
and Atlanta Georgia.
In Alabama we
will travel to
Huntsville and then
south to Birmingham
and then to
Montgomery and
Mobile, Alabama.
From there we head south to
Pensacola, Florida
through
Panama City and then
to Tallahassee. From
Tallahassee we then head
down the west coast of
Florida going through
Tampa St. Petersburg,
Bradenton,
Port Charlotte,
Fort Meyers and then
to Naples and back to
Key West to start all over
again.
