Volunteers at AmerinRio, Inc. Collected Over $500 in Street Donations for Pink Campaigns Mobile Screening Unit.

Miami, Florida, May 25, 2009. AmerinRio, Inc. volunteers hit the streets over Memorial weekend to collect donations for Pink Campaigns Mobile Mammography Screening Clinic. Pink Campaigns still needs to raise another $150,000 for this specialized bus to do free breast cancer screenings in South Florida.

 

If you were traveling to the Keys over the weekend you might have seen the volunteers in white t-shirts with pink lettering or pink t-shirts and pink lettering at the corner of 344 St and U.S. 1 in Florida City. AmerinRio volunteers have never collected donations from the streets before and said that it was an eye opening experience. So many people seem to be very sad as they were traveling, was a comment by one of the volunteers. But for another volunteer it was a real pleasure to be able to smile and wave to everyone that passed by.

AmerinRio, Inc. would like to thank all those who were so kind and gave your donations during this past Memorial Weekend. We would also like to thank Glaceau for providing samples of their Vitamin Water to drink on those hot days. Every penny will go to support Pink Campaigns Mobile Mammography Unit. Pink Campaigns mission is to find Solutions for the Cure. A major part of the organization is Breast Cancer Research and Awareness, helping women overcome this disease and educating the public about early detection.
